He/him

Daniel is a social worker, researcher, educator, and full time adventurer. He is faculty at Washington State University and also works with Parker Bounds Johnson Foundation’s Wild Hearts program. He does research and scholarship related to adventure therapy, outdoor therapies, mental illness prevention, LGBTQ+ equity and inclusion, and mental health literacy. I have found my own personal resilience through adventure and time in the outdoors. I hope to share this gift with to help foster resilience for others!
