Deidra Goodwin

Deidra Goodwin (Any/They/She) is an experiential education practitioner with a newly discovered fascination with research who is excited about further bridging the gap between research-informed practice and practice-informed research to create more experiential opportunities for all people, with all people in mind from the start. Deidra has a BA in Integrated Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University and an MS in Experiential and Outdoor Education from Western Carolina University. Deidra is a Campaign Strategist with Sierra Club Military Outdoors, founder of DGoodwin Experiential, LLC, and an Adjunct Instructor with Brevard as well as an active member of several organizations, including the Association for Experiential Education, Association of Outdoor Recreation and Education, and the Wilderness Education Association. Deidra is excited about all things related to reflection, equitable outdoor and green space access, and the humanity and opportunities for connection that the two bring to everyone.
