Kathy Chau Rohn, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Education Department at the University of New Hampshire. She received her B.A. from New York University, her Ed.M. in Higher Education from Harvard University, and her Ph.D. in Higher Education from Boston College. Dr. Rohn serves as a Co-Chair for the Symposium on Experiential Education (SEER) and a Board Member for Summits in Solidarity, a New Hampshire-based nonprofit working toward racial justice and equity in the outdoors.
Dr. Rohn’s research focuses on three interrelated strands of inquiry: postsecondary access and success for at-promise students, adolescent and college student development, and experiential education in formal and informal contexts. She employs innovative qualitative research and evaluation approaches that integrate stakeholders, participatory processes, systems thinking, and critical reflexivity to address complex issues and advance equitable practice and policy.
