Lynette Spencer, MBA, MSW, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and founder with over 25 years of experience in community-based behavioral healthcare, specializing in outdoor and adventure-informed mental health services. Her work spans clinical practice, nonprofit leadership, program design, and organizational development, with a strong emphasis on ethical – and sustainable – implementation and accessibility. Lynette is the owner and clinical director of Blue Dot Psychotherapy, PLLC, and serves in executive leadership roles with Adventure Works of DeKalb County and the Parker Bounds Johnson Foundation, where she supports the development and evaluation of community-based outdoor behavioral health programs for youth and families. Her leadership is grounded in trauma-informed care, systems thinking, and organizational sustainability. She is deeply committed to collaboration between practitioners and researchers in outdoor behavioral healthcare, valuing research that is informed by clinical realities and practice that is strengthened by empirical evidence to advance effective, inclusive, and scalable models of care.
